The Laboratory of Environmental Technologies is among other activities focused on monitoring and measuring of the concentration of harmful gases in the atmosphere for breeding animals, where it monitors individual properties, mainly their microclimate, temperature, humidity, and the concentration of harmfull gases, mostly within the framework of projects with this theme. Most of these projects coordinator, partially solved in the laboratory, is a VÚZT in Prague. These are complemented by projects financed out of internal projects, on which the work of CUA mostly national and PhD students, as was the case for example for monitoring digestátu properties from of the biogas plants (dry and compressed digestat or just damp and uncompressed). In addition, the Laboratory deals with the measurement of light conditions in these objects and their impact on the performance of the animals. Also actively cooperates on the use of nanotechnology to reduce concentrations of the damage nanotechnology for the reduction of the concentration of harmful gases in these objects. An integral part of the work of the laboratory is its role in the dissemination of new knowledge in the form of processing of DP and BP. The results of the work of the laboratories were used in the classroom and out successfully published in magazines and professional conferences.
The history of the laboratory:
This laboratory was built in ITS current premises, then (FTZ) in 2009-10 from nevýukových space in the basement of the College the BCD. The current workload of the laboratory has been from the beginning of its existence, in part, the same as working similar laboratories on TF in its activity, however, was more focused on quantifying physical properties of plants and their parts. Therefore, it was possible in the newly built Laboratory to the FTZ activities similar to the lab on the TF.
Laboratory equipment: outside the common laboratory instruments necessary for the functioning of the Laboratory is part of even single-compartment a gas Analyzer, which allows at the same time the INNOVA measured concentrations of five selected gases and water vapor in the air samples and fibre spectrometer, allowing to analyze the spectrum of radiation in the wavelength range 200 to 850 nm with a resolution of 0.5 nm. In addition, they are available in the laboratory measuring products, produced in connection with the solution of research projects. If it is necessary to measure the concentration of gases in multiple places at the same time, it is necessary the equipment leased to the cooperating organizations VÚZT, v.v.i.
