On 8th of January 2018, the group of Master’s students from the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences accompanied by Jiří Hejkrlík visited the Cooperative Association of the Czech Republic in Prague. Students of the course Farmers Cooperatives and Associations had a chance to talk to the experts from Cooperative Association, namely Mr. Martin Pýcha, the head of agricultural cooperatives (chairman of the Agricultural Union of the Czech Republic) and Mr. Lukáš Němčík, (marketing manager of COOP). The topics discussed covered history and current situation of Czech agricultural and consumer cooperatives. At the end students visited the Cooperative museum under the guidance of Pavel Černý.
