Senior Scientist Tropical Agriculture
to lead our long-term farming systems comparison trial in India with a focus on cotton production. The project is part of our SysCom program implemented in India, Bolivia and Kenia (see https://systems-comparison.fibl.org). We are comparing organic and conventional production systems for various aspects including productivity, sustainability, ecology and socio-economy. The program aims to provide solid agronomic and socio-economic data on major organic and conventional agriculture production systems. You will further have the opportunity to engage in other research projects with your specific expertise. The position is located in Frick. Frequent travelling is required.

Organic Horticulture or Crop Expert
for our international sourcing and marketing projects mostly in Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. You will provide guidance on organic management practices and organic certification requirements in the target countries and support with your agronomic and post-harvest expertise value chain development projects, including feasibility studies and product sourcing activities. In the framework of different projects, you will be working in close collaboration with our trade partners and FiBL colleagues complementing your work. Frequent travelling is required.
