We want to announce that FiBL Europe has an open position for a plant breeder located mainly in Brussels, Belgium. See announcement attached and further conditions under the FiBL webpage.
FiBL wants to strengthen organic seed and plant breeding across Europe and is looking for a plant breeder with experience in project management to run workshops on financing models, strengthen network activities, elaboration of science based studies, consultation with EU commission and eventually support seed project acquisition in Africa. 2nd EUCARPIA Workshop on Implementing Plant-Microbe Interactions in Plant Breeding held in Tulln, AT (close to Vienna) on 6 December 2019 (find announcement attached) linked to the miCROPe Symposium. The workshop is organised in two sessions: (i) "Genetic determinants of plant-microbe interactions" and (ii) "Integration of plant-microbe interactions into breeding".
I am delighted to announce that Davide Bulgarelli (Dundee Univ, UK) and Martin de Vos (KeyGene, NL) have accepted to give the keynote speeches for the two sessions.
