The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, is once again joining the team relay race LABE RUN – and we are looking for new runners to join our team.
The 2026 edition will take place on June 13–14 and will guide runners along the Elbe River from Špindlerův Mlýn to Děčín Castle. The total distance is 380 km, divided into 36 sections shared among team members.
The race is built on teamwork – each team can have up to 12 runners who rotate throughout the course. Each participant typically completes around three runs of approximately 10 km over the two days. The event hosts a maximum of 100 teams, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere.
Basic race information:
- Start: Špindlerův Mlýn (June 13, 2026; 8 waves between 5:00–11:00)
- Finish: Děčín (June 14, 2026)
- Distance: 380 km / 36 sections
- Team size: max. 12 runners
- Categories: mixed (10–12 runners), mixed (6–9 runners), women’s team, veterans
We already have a strong core of FTZ runners who will represent the faculty under the team name Jungle Runners. However, we are still looking for additional participants from among academic and administrative staff as well as students.
If you feel ready to run approximately 3 × 10 km over two days and would like to experience a unique combination of physical challenge, team spirit, and shared adventure, we would be happy to welcome you.
