Notice for applicants from Russia and Belarus:
All study programs offered by the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences have been identified as critical from the point of view of possible violations of the sanctioning measures of the European Union authorities - Council Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014, No. 692/2014, 2022/263, Council Regulation (EC) No. 765 /2006. The cited EU sanctions regulations prohibit EU countries from "directly or indirectly providing technical assistance" to Russia and Belarus. Higher education also falls under this ban. The obligation to comply with prohibitions and restrictions regarding technical assistance and intangible technology transfer applies to all natural and legal persons in the Czech Republic. Accepting and subsequently providing education to citizens of the Russian Federation and Belarus would/could violate the imposed sanctions through the provision of technical assistance, and therefore these applicants will not be accepted to study at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences.
