The 7th International Multidisciplinary Conference for Young Researchers (MCYR 2026) will take place on 8–9 October 2026, bringing together early career researchers across disciplines to share research, foster collaboration and discuss innovative approaches to current global challenges.

V etiopském regionu Tigraj se rozbíhá nový projekt podpořený Českou rozvojovou agenturou, jehož cílem je podpořit obnovu živobytí drobných zemědělců a posílit odolnost místních komunit vůči dopadům klimatické změny i následkům ozbrojeného konfliktu. Na realizaci projektu se podílí také Fakulta tropického zemědělství České zemědělské univerzity v Praze (FTZ ČZU), která do iniciativy přináší odborné znalosti v oblasti udržitelného zemědělství, rozvoje hodnotových řetězců a inovativních technologií pro venkovský rozvoj.

From 13 to 24 April 2026, the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences hosted an international ADVALUE Study Trip for three doctoral students from partner universities in Uganda and Kenya within the Erasmus+ CBHE project ADVALUE. The study trip focused on international knowledge sharing and capacity building in agricultural value chains. The programme combined structured academic activities with field-based learning through excursions to relevant agri-food, production, and research facilities, thereby linking theoretical concepts with real-world practice.
