Please find attached the Call for Papers of the annual conference organised by the Africa Platform of Ghent University Association: Africa at the intersection of Climate, Migration & Health challenges.
In 2024 this international symposium will be co-organised by Ghent University’s International Thematic Network CliMigHealth, which focuses on the nexus between climate change, migration and health(care), the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) and the Centre for the Social Study of Migration and Refugees (CESSMIR).
The conference will take place in Ghent, more specifically on 28 & 29 November 2024, although online participation will be possible.
We welcome paper submissions within any of these interdisciplinary streams:
- Climate-focused stream
- Migration-focused stream
- Health-focused stream
- Governance stream
- Stream on methodological complexities
Deadline for the submission of abstracts: 1 June 2024.
