Since 1999, the Tropentag conference has held its annual meetings under the patronage and support of many European universities.
This year 2019 the city of Kassel in Germany - Universities of Kassel and Goettingen hosted the conference during the period 18-20 of September, the Czech University for Life Sciences has had an active presence as usual through posters and presentations of students and professors.
Although scientific conferences do not exceed a few days, during the conferences are generated scientific and practical relationships. In addition, presentations and workshops for important research by experienced students and professors.
What distinguishes the Tropentag is the diversity of research and its comprehensiveness from 726 students, researchers and doctors from different nationalities.
It has been proven that more than 70% of solutions to scientific and industrial problems arise through direct interaction during scientific conferences and meetings. It is not only through lectures or papers delivered, but also from unplanned meetings, in conversations and side discussions in the conference lounges.
From our Biogas Research Team was this year presented contribution entitled: “Biogas energy potential in Syria: Prospects and challenges” authored by Ghaith Hassan, Hynek Roubík, Jana Mazancová and Jan Banout. You can access the scientific poster HERE.
