The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is part of the international project AgriConnect Cambodia, aimed at strengthening education, research, and international collaboration in sustainable agriculture.
The project connects CZU Prague with partner institutions – the Royal University of Agriculture and the National University of Battambang in Cambodia. Together, they focus on developing digital skills among students and academic staff, promoting open science, and enhancing research quality.
A key activity is a two-week summer school focused on digital tools and the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture. Participants will gain practical skills in data processing, analysis, and the application of modern technologies in both research and practice.
The project also includes an international symposium on sustainable agri-food systems, bringing together academia, public institutions, and practitioners. Another important outcome will be the establishment of a research platform supporting open-access scientific publishing.
AgriConnect Cambodia contributes to sustainable agriculture, food security, and global knowledge sharing, while strengthening CZU Prague’s role in international research and development cooperation.
