The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences is launching a new Erasmus+ call for long-term study stays in the academic year 2026/2027. Students can once again apply for a semester abroad at one of our partner universities across Europe and gain valuable experience that connects education, research, and international practice.
How to apply The application will be available from December 2025 in UIS: Student Portal › My Study Abroad › Submit an Exchange Application
Application period
From December 15, 2025 to February 15, 2026
Required documents
- Structured CV (Europass format)
- Motivation letter in English and in the language of instruction
- Selection of one preferred university + one backup option
Language requirements and course offerings are listed on the websites of individual universities.
Who can apply All FTZ students enrolled in accredited Bachelor programmes (from the 2nd year), Master’s programmes, or Doctoral programmes — in any form of study. Even students who have already participated in an Erasmus+ study stay or traineeship may apply again. Up to 12 months of Erasmus+ support can be used within one study cycle.
Selection process The selection includes an interview:
- in the language of study,
- and, for most universities, also in the language of the host country.
Interviews for the 1st round will take place in February. Applicants will receive an invitation with the exact date and time.
Please bring to the interview:
- transcript of records from UIS,
- language certificate (min. B2 for English),
- supervisor’s approval (form available on the FTZ website; an e-mail is sufficient). Language certificate and supervisor’s approval may be submitted later.
