Our PhD student Monika Kosova represented the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences at EHEF 2017 in Manila, Philippines organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines in cooperation with the EU Member States’ Embassies and Cultural Institutes with the participation of the Commission on Higher Education. The fair was held on Wednesday, 18 October 2017 at one of the country’s top commercial centres, a thriving hub of yuppies and families - Shangri-La Plaza atrium. There were country presentations on mobility opportunities of all 25 higher education institutions from all over the EU and all embassies could present their countries and more about the education sector. Within the Czech session, we had the opportunity to present a short presentation about our faculty, study programs, admission processes, and scholarship opportunities. Moreover, we had an information stand available for direct contact and information sharing to potential applicants for study, including the distribution of university and faculty promotional materials. A total of 25 of the best higher education institutions from 10 EU countries participated, including five Czech universities:
- Czech University of Life Sciences Prague,
- Masaryk University Brno,
- Mendel University Brno,
- University of Chemistry and Technology Prague,
- University of West Bohemia Pilsen.
