MCYR 2026 brings together young researchers from around the world. Calls for abstracts and workshops are now open
The 7th International Multidisciplinary Conference for Young Researchers (MCYR 2026) will take place on 8–9 October 2026, bringing together early career researchers across disciplines to share research, foster collaboration and discuss innovative approaches to current global challenges.
This year’s conference theme is: “Research Innovation to Action: Pathways Toward Resilience in a Risk-Prone World”
Discussions and presentations will focus on key topics within:
- Technology and Innovation
- Plants and Agriculture
- Animals and Ecology
- Climate and Sustainability
- Society and Culture
MCYR has long provided a platform for young researchers to present their work, establish international connections and strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation.
Two calls are currently open:
- Call for Abstracts
- Call for Workshop Proposals
Accepted abstracts will be published in the online MCYR Book of Abstracts with ISBN.
The conference will also feature workshops organized by participants themselves. Workshops may focus on networking, capacity building, project collaboration or knowledge exchange within specific research areas. Workshops can be held either in person or online.
Deadline for workshop proposal submissions: 31 August 2026
MCYR 2026 is organized by the BioResources & Technology Division (BRT) with the support of the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
The conference will take place in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual participation options.
