Tropentag 2025 is the largest interdisciplinary conference dedicated to research in tropical and subtropical agriculture, natural resource management, and rural development. It is jointly organized every year by a consortium of leading European universities and institutions, including the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.

2025 Conference Theme:
How can agriculture respond to global pressures—such as climate change, urbanisation, and resource scarcity—while protecting the health of our planet?
Key topics will include:
- sustainable soil and water management,

- the role of policies, market tools, and knowledge transfer,
- gender equity, youth involvement, and inclusion of marginalised groups.
