With Valentine’s Day approaching, the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, invites all those looking for an original and refined way to celebrate to a truly special experience. On Thursday, 12 February 2026, the FTZ Botanical Garden will open its doors in the late afternoon and evening, offering guided Valentine’s tours through its greenhouses at dusk.
The evening atmosphere of the tropical greenhouses creates a unique space to slow down, notice details, and reconnect with nature. Accompanied by experts from the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, visitors will discover fascinating stories of plants from the tropics and subtropics, their uses, and their importance for people and ecosystems. The tours will also include a sensory experience through the intoxicating aromas of exotic spices from different parts of the world.
The Valentine’s tours are designed for a wide audience – couples, individuals, and families with children alike. Several time slots are available:
- 5:00 PM – programme for families with children
- 6:00 PM – evening tour for the public
- 7:00 PM – evening tour for the public
- 8:00 PM – special tour for singles
