Dr. Olga Leuner participated in an international credit mobility exchange at the partner institution, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) in Thailand. During the workshop “How to Design Your Scientific Poster”, she guided local students in improving their scientific presentations and research outputs.
Following her session, Dr. Petra Chaloupková introduced the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) and the study programs offered by the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ). She focused on promoting the Tropical AgroEcology online study program and presented opportunities to study at CZU through the multiple degree GLOFOR program. The key highlight was the introduction of a newly established Double Degree program, allowing students to spend one year at FTZ/CZU in Prague and the second year at the university in Thailand.
Additionally, Dr. Chaloupková informed students about scholarship opportunities available through the International Credit Mobility 2023–2026 program. Thanks to this initiative, four students from Thailand will have the chance to study in Prague for one semester, and two PSU faculty members will also visit CZU.
The collaboration between Prince of Songkla University and the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences has been ongoing for 15 years, building on joint projects supported by ERASMUS MUNDUS and Erasmus+ (e.g., EURASIA 2, ALFABET, ASK ASIA, SIMPLE, PISAI).
This long-term partnership continues to provide valuable opportunities for students and academics, fostering international scientific cooperation in tropical agriculture.
