As follow-up of our project “Support of young university capacity in education and research and science activities in Ukraine” supported by Czech Republic Development Cooperation two scientists from Ukraine visited our Biogas Research Team.
From 16th to 19th January 2020 visited Dr. Roman Vaskin and Dr. Iryna Vaskina from Department of Applied Ecology, Sumy State University (Ukraine) our Czech University of Life Sciences, specifically Department of Sustainable Technologies and had a meeting with scientists from Biogas Research Team (Group leader - Dr. Hynek Roubík).
During this visit was discussed especially environmental challenges in Ukraine and Ukrainian experiences with biogas development as well as biomass processing and waste management challenges.
Such meeting was useful for both sides (Czech and Ukrainian) in the field of scientific cooperation and increasing students and scientific staff exchange.
This visit was possible due to the established cooperation during project: “Support of young university capacity in education and research and science activities in Ukraine” supported by Czech Republic Development Cooperation.
