Missed the regular application deadline? The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ), Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, has opened an additional admission round for the 2026/2027 academic year. Applications for selected bachelor's and master's degree programmes can be submitted from to 15 July 2026.
Applicants should note that admission examinations will be conducted in person, and attendance on campus is required.
The additional admission round is open for the following bachelor's programmes:
- Tropical Agriculture (TZ)
- International Cooperation in Agriculture and Rural Development (ICARD)
and the following master's programmes:
- Agri-food Systems and Rural Development (ASRD)
- Wildlife and Livestock Production, Management and Conservation (WLPMC)
- Tropical Crop Management and Ecology (TCME)
- International Development and Agricultural Economics (IDAE)
- Tropical Forestry and Agroforestry (TFA)
- Tropical Agroecology (TAE – online distance-learning programme)
FTZ study programmes combine high-quality education with some of today's most pressing global challenges, including sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, rural development, food security, and international development. Students gain both academic knowledge and practical experience in an international environment, with opportunities to engage in research and development projects around the world.

Please note that personal attendance is required for all admission examinations in the additional admission round. Online interviews for applicants residing abroad are no longer available, with the exception of the Tropical Agroecology (TAE) programme, which is offered in an online distance-learning format.
