At the end of October, students from high school SOŠ Čelákovice s.r.o., studying in the study programme social studies, had the opportunity to spend a day at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences. During their visit, they got to know the facilities of the university, toured the campus and found out what studying at the university entails. First, they attended a lecture on Role of Gender in Advertisement organized under the leadership of Mgr. Josef Vošmik from Gender studies. Subsequently, they joined the seminar of the course Marketing of tropical products, and they participated in a team building activity together with FTA students and played together the Marshmallow challenge. At the end of the lessons, they went on an excursion to the Botanical Garden, where Bc. Soňa Moučková gave them an expert explanation about tropical and subtropical crops. The students ended their visit with a tour of the university campus. We firmly believe that they liked the faculty environment and are motivated to study at our faculty.
