PhD student of FTA Lukáš Pawera received the Julia F. Morton Award of the Society for Economic Botany

Congratulations to Lukáš Pawera, the Julia F. Morton Award recipient for the best poster presentation by a young professional for the year 2017.

Lukáš is the current Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. He is a member of the Agricultural Botany and Ethnoecology Research Group. The awarded poster Could Bio-cultural Refugia Safeguard Important Reservoirs of Traditional Plant Knowledge in Highly Industrialized Countries? A case study of the White Carpathians, Czech Republic has been presented at the 58th Annual Meeting of the Society for Economic Botany in Bragança, Portugal.
