The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences could not miss the first year of a beach volleyball tournament which supports the UN's Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On Friday, September 4, the first year of a unique beach volleyball tournament took place in the sports complex on Císařská louka in Prague. The tournament, organized by the Association of Social Responsibility, was attended by a total of 24 mixed teams representing companies, non-profit organizations and authorities.
The pandemic did not stop the members of the volleyball team of the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences of the CZU in Prague, consisting of: Hynek Roubík, Jiří Hejkrlík, Katka Vihanová, Ingrid Melnikovova, Martina Klímová, Julius Fördöš and Eloy Fernandez Cusimamani in participating in a beach volleyball tournament in support of UN global goals.
"Of course we fought for SDG 4: quality education. Because ensuring equal access to inclusive and quality education and supporting lifelong learning for all is, of course, essential for us,” concludes Hynek Roubík.
