Dr. Samnang Nguon, a distinguished scholar and recipient of a Ph.D. degree in Agriculture in Tropics and Subtropics from the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences at CZU Prague, has made significant contributions to the field of tropical agriculture and food science. Currently serving as the Dean of Graduate School at Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) in Cambodia, Dr. Nguon’s expertise lies in research, innovation, and teaching in the field. His research interests encompass food quality, nutrition, food safety, and biologically active natural products from neglected and underutilized crops, spices, aromatic, and medicinal plants for agriculture, food ingredients, industry, and health. Dr. Nguon has led various research and development projects and published numerous scientific works.
