The project aims to support Ukrainian refugees currently studying in universities in the Republic of Moldova by developing professional competencies for the future job market, strengthening their academic knowledge and skills,  as well as helping them in socio-cultural adaptation. 
 
The project involves 4 higher education institutions: the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), the Moldova State University  (USM), and the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă" in Chisinau (UPSC).
 
One of the objectives is to develop the academic skills of refugee students through practical courses and workshops, providing them with the necessary tools to excel in the academic and professional environment. Activities included training in scientific writing, the use of statistics and data analysis, as well as other transversal skills essential for academic and personal success (project management, basics of entrepreneurship, effective communication, etc.). This objective aims to reduce educational gaps caused by the interruption of studies and improve access to modern and relevant educational resources. 
 
Project activities focused on developing intercultural communication skills and familiarizing oneself with Moldovan culture. The project activities included the organization of the Summer School - a platform for Ukrainian students to learn about Moldovan traditions and customs, as well as to present their culture and thus stimulate interaction and cohesion between communities. Environmental education during Summer School allows students to contribute to the local community actively, strengthening the sense of belonging and social responsibility.
