The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences at CZU Prague invites high school students and teachers to explore science up close. We offer a series of lectures, workshops, and field trips that connect biology, geography, ecology, economics, and technical subjects with real examples from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Our students and young researchers showcase the tropics as a laboratory for today’s global challenges. They share stories about endangered animals, exotic plants, innovative agricultural technologies, sustainable food production, and bioeconomy. They explain how tropical development and sustainable solutions impact our everyday life and the world’s future.
Programs can be hosted at your school or at FTZ – in classrooms, laboratories, or our botanical garden. Lectures are offered in Czech or English and can be tailored to the specific interests and level of your students.
