ISAE East–West Central Europe Joint Regional Conference in Prague in June 2026

From 9 to 12 June 2026, the ISAE East–West Central Europe Joint Regional Conference 2026 will take place at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ) is co-organising this prestigious scientific event.

The conference will bring together researchers, academics, PhD candidates and practitioners working in applied ethology – the study of animal behaviour in relation to welfare, livestock management, conservation and sustainable agriculture. The programme will include keynote lectures, thematic sessions, workshop „Animal Welfare Education: Strategies for Effective Learning“ and discussions addressing current challenges in human–animal relationships.

A strong emphasis will be placed on translating scientific knowledge into practice and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. These themes closely align with the long-term focus of FTZ, which connects research, education and international cooperation in the fields of sustainable farming systems, biodiversity protection and ethical aspects of working with animals. Alongside the main program, attendees can look forward to two social events and a selection of engaging excursions.

Abstract submission is open until April 22, 2026.

The conference offers an important platform for presenting new research findings and strengthening international partnerships.
