Content Development Supervisor
Statewide Integrated Pest Management Program for California, University of California,
Agriculture and Natural Resources, Davis
I am responsible for the team of editors and specialists preparing technical publications (printed and online versions) and online courses about integrated pest management both for farmers, certified consultants, pesticides users and professional and public community. I am also in charge of several important databases (pesticides and their toxicity against bees and other pollinators, meteorological stations etc.).
2004 – 2015
The head of department of education and information in the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center, Mexico.
Except for the management of the information center and several projects in Mexico, I was working on development programmes in south Asia (India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan) and in east and south Africa (Etiopia, Kenya and Zimbabwe).
2002 – 2004
The Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Namibian University, where I also led the Czech programme of development aid.
