SmartAgriCambodia (2025–2027) is a CzechAid-funded initiative dedicated to transforming agriculture in Battambang province, Cambodia. The project focuses on enhancing agricultural technical education and improving the efficiency of production through the introduction of smart agricultural technologies. By combining modern technology, scientific research, and capacity building, SmartAgriCambodia strengthens the entire agricultural ecosystem - supporting farmers, cooperatives, extension officers, and educational institutions.
Key Strategies include:
- Analyzing agricultural cooperatives and value chains
- Delivering modern and smart agricultural technologies
- Strengthening education at universities, technical schools, and within farming communities
- Building infrastructure, improving market access, and supporting climate change adaptation
- Enhancing networking and communication across stakeholders
Objective: To improve agricultural technical education and boost production efficiency in Battambang province through smart agriculture solutions.
Vision: To establish a replicable model for modern agriculture in Battambang that can be scaled across Cambodia, empowering farmers and communities nationwide.
