The World Agroforestry Campus in Nairobi, Kenya, hosted a three-day conference from March 10–12, 2025, officially launching the AfroGrow project. This four-year EU-funded initiative under Horizon Europe aims to develop sustainable agroforestry practices across Africa, enhancing climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and socio-economic development.
AfroGrow brings together 25 partner organizations from Europe and Africa, working within six Living Labs in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, and Botswana to test and implement innovative agroforestry solutions.
The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) is actively involved in the project through:
