Additional Admission Round Open at FTZ: Apply by 15 July

Missed the regular application deadline? The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ), Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, has opened an additional admission round for the 2026/2027 academic year. Applications for selected bachelor's and master's degree programmes can be submitted from to 15 July 2026.

The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU Prague) has achieved a significant improvement in one of the world's most respected university rankings. 

Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences Hosts Moldovan Delegation within FAO Land Degradation Neutrality Programme.

A six-member delegation from the Republic of Moldova visited the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU Prague) as part of a professional training programme attended by representatives of the key Moldovan institutions responsible for land governance, environmental protection, and climate resilience, including Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Ministry of Environment, the State Hydrometeorological Service, the National Agency for Land Relations (ANIF), and the Institute for Forestry Research and Management (ICAS).

Back at FTZ After 25 Years

The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ) welcomed its alumnae who returned to their alma mater twenty-five years after completing their studies. On Saturday, 13 June 2026, they took part in the Silver Graduation Ceremony held at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU Prague) and subsequently visited FTZ to reconnect with their university years and discover how the faculty has evolved over the past quarter-century.

Ecocentre Loska Launches New Educational Programmes Connecting Science, Nature and Experience

A new educational and outreach facility, Ecocentre Loska, has been established at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU Prague), at its research station in Lány. The centre connects scientific research, environmental education and direct experience with nature, offering educational programmes for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools as well as the wider public.
